T hose Trees
The people are asking with such heartfelt pleas
Kindly make that effort to plant more trees
Do not let that guile of boom promised by development
Cause that neglect to take care of the environment
Those many miles of building and shopping malls
Yes some may look beautiful, magnificent as they stand tall
There may be shade, but that feeling will never be
Like sitting and relaxing in under the shade of a tree
No where can one see those colourful angiosperms
Their branches with a variety of blossom to adorn
And the bees buzzing around in such anticipation
Of getting nectar and in the process effect pollination
There is no doubt with such a concentrated mass of concrete
Tit is possible to trap lots of convectional and radiant heat
And the air conditioner provides the cooling action there
And perhaps there is the possibility of getting legionnaires
So as there is that joy of development thrills
Also too there is that aspect too of progress perils
Because there was no thought about the glaring problem
About the destruction of another ecosystem
So remember when being woo by a developer
Ensure that there is some use of that bargaining power
And this should be one very signed condition
To plant trees as a form of restoration
