Here's the truth
The only way I know how
Is to open my heart
Yet to keep guards up excessively
To act like I don't like you
Truth is I was crazy about you
This feeling can't go on
Not today, not tomorrow and nor forever
The intensity is toxic like I feel your thoughts and feelings deep in the night
Keeping me awake and my anxiety is well under control
You think of me and I feel it intensely
This feeling is toxic and I wish it were beautiful like it used to feel
Something git in the way and I really don't know what it is
I know things happened whilst you weren't around
I'm not one to cause conflict so I had to let you go
I loved you so Intensely that I let you be free
You couldn't open your heart up to me
Nor be vulnerable with me
I'm fiery, independent and strong
Remember how bad you all treated me
Basically like I were a scattered leaf on the floor and you were the trees standing tall
I were just a leaf, but now I'm not just a leaf I grew from the concrete and composted into something new
I'm not who I was then and nor today or tomorrow
I'll continue to evolve and the truth is I can't take anyone's control, I can only meet halfway
I've never been a catfish, a follower nor wanted or liked what others had
I always found my own authenticity
I learned boundaries and self-respect and self love from you and much more
You'll be rewarded for life
As long as you try to be a good man
Heal your heart and let them go including myself
If we were meant for you
Nothing will ever stop the love
God promises a genuine love for you
I'm just not her
I sense we grown apart
Haven't we?
You haven't tried contacting me and you don't find me beautiful like you used to
I still view you as a gorgeous man who's good enough for anyone, but we are so different
You need to build your spirituality up to uplift yourself to thy Lord
You'll see things change
I prayed for so many things and it happened, not over night, but it happened
I seen miraculous things come my way
Don't keep awake regretting your choices
Your life has been hard and you'll only get ahead once you stop feeling sorry for yourself
