Shining like stars and the morning rays
He began to run from fear of rejection
She craved his contagious injection
Until eventually she needed nought his control
He stressed over her leaving the patrol
She walked away from the toxic mirror
No longer did she wither
She wasn't hurt looking through the looking glass
His ego bruised and no pride in mass
Was there reconciliation
Or just a hopeless situation
