DON`T LIKE THE OUTCOME

DON`T LIKE THE OUTCOME

I want to thank my Mum for giving birth
So that I could have this time on earth,
But when I think about my time to die
My heart becomes heavy and I want to cry.

I don`t `do dying` now let`s make it clear
As it`s not very good from what I hear,
For when you die you go into an eternal sleep
They put you in a box and bury you deep.

I have loads of dreams every single night
And I tell people about them as soon as it`s light
Now imagine all those dreams I`ll have when I`m dead
No one will know about them so they`ll go unread.

Then again they may cremate me and I`ll go to dust
I suppose they`ll do whatever they must,
If they scatter me to the wind there`ll be no trace
And my thoughts would be all over the place.

Thinking long and hard about my own demise
Now what I`m about to say will come as no surprise,
It doesn`t sound to me like it`s going to be bliss
So if it`s all the same to you I think I`ll give it a miss.
