That Stigma

There were those days when a person was charged with a crime
This was something that weighed so heavy on the mind
What a happening that indeed brought one such shame
And the avoidance of friend would be certainly great pain

What an ordeal being in the courtroom for trial
To some that place was scary with an air so formal
The atmosphere was such, and so respectfully quiet
Someone said that they heard the wings of a fly flap

Then when the person has received an appropriate sentence
The family at first, try to keep from the other a little distance
And the perpetrator after spending the time paying society it's debt
Some elements of the society would not let them forget

In a conversation one said it was annoying when he heard
What a beautiful morning on seeing the flight of a jail bird
Just one experience a teaching of a life's mistake
And people do puerile would not let you shake

This too most definitely provided such a bad situation
Especially when there is an attempt to obtain some occupation
Because many employers put you under that cloud of suspicion
When the know the person did a stint in prison

But some fellows when they were incarcerated
Did not let the entrepreneurial spirit be dented
They took advantage of the programs taught during their confinement
And when released this training they readily I'm on implemented.
