The dark shadow of any object,
ceases to be visible in the darkness,
because a shadow is a lack of light and
it does not exist in the darkness.
BUT...
When the hurts and pain exceed
the level one could barely tolerate,
sadness seems to disappear in the
dark severe pain so hard to tolerate,
doesn't mean the sadness has ceased to exist.
