My New Miss

When dancing light sails the mist
Then salsas in my new Miss.
She silhouettes a latin rhythm
Her body trim, a satin hymn.

Until candles dim and wist wains slim
And fiesta sails the midnight rim
Echoes in the floors and walls,
Toes the doors and more forestalls,
Sweet notes her rote to scour,
Sleep dotes a tower, both her’s and ours.
My new Miss muses at the hour.

Dawn’s early heralds sifting the dew
Lawns anew the dancing crew.
No energy to renew
Home the only view.
The salsa genes sailing in us deep,
We dance and dance in our sleep….
Until the new morning sunny
When I have breakfast with my delicious honey.
