Be strengthened by grace in Christ,
And the things that you have heard;
Many witnesses became enticed,
Committed faithful in the Word.
Many witnesses entrusted men,
Who are able to teach others;
Repent so God will not condemn,
And become your Christian brothers.
Therefore you must endure hardness,
Sharing in suffering of Christ;
As a good soldier He will bless,
For everything you sacrificed.
No good soldier gets entangled,
In any civilian pursuits;
Worldly interests have strangled,
The righteous person who refutes.
Because the aim would be to please,
Anyone that Jesus selects;
As a soldier to put at ease,
The worldly things that Christ rejects.
If a man strives for masteries,
He must follow the complete rules;
God blesses his abilities,
And has been given the right tools.
The farmer works to have first share.
Being partaker of first fruits;
The harvest he had to prepare,
The endeavor of his pursuits.
Consider of all that I say,
The Lord gives you understanding;
Comprehending living each day.
On what the Lord is commanding.
