Again Cancer
Once again in this month of the year we in celebration remember
By celebrating those who had passed and the survivors of cancer
And the colour pink hailed as the designated emblem
Worn by those who survive, supporters and friends
It would be very hard to find some who may have lost a friend or member of their family
To this disease which has such classifications which are plenty
Heart broken at seeing them endure such a degree of hurt and pain
In some cases there a sigh of relief when the end came
It is so sad to know there is hardly an area of the human anatomy
That this disease somehow achieved that ability
To no matter what to bring about some form of morbidity
And in due time can bring about that unfortunate mortality
Yes those scientists were able to bring some control
To find cure or exert some control of diseases the affected the world
But with this one the battle is continuing, with a bit of headway
And in some cases there are lots of resistance on display
In most countries their health system is anxious when it comes to compare
The increase in deaths it causes each passing year
So they try a method hoping to get more accurate information
By adding to the scope , by using a form of Cancer Registration
How we have seen the devastation of breast cancer on women
And how that of prostate has on the population of men
And that in the G. I system is cause even more fear
Now too that of the pancreas is not to far in getting there
There is now an abundance of advice around in such a situation
And what can be done to obtain methods of early detection
For the ladies use self check so simple and easy
For the men PSA, and the doctor's finger up the cavity
And too lots of radio-graphic tools for the interior of the body
Some may say that with those changes in life style
Those eating habits and diets on the face can bring a smile
Lack of exercise, being so sedentary and so lazy
That they neglect to see those changes that came so untimely
But some may include the actions of the environment
Being now a victim too, of all those waste there we sent
By products, oncogenic, carcinogenic, and electromagnetic agents
We perhaps now paying the price for such neglegence
