Election Time
How come a country seems to always have the audacity
To assemble a committee to other countries elections oversee
Ensuring that all is well and that it was fair and free, of an incident
So that any of the candidates can make claim that it was fraudulent
But look what is now happening in an election
Some of those who worked are have some trepidation
And added to the mix, such threats, rejection and suppression
Why are they not arrested and placed for safety in the prisons
A person who lost whined and bemoaned that from him victory was stolen
And now this lie has grown to such a proportion
That now many have jumped on to this bandwagon
Yes too others because of loyalty of party affiliation
It is frightening that some election workers are getting threats
Why should they have work under such a mindset
They have no power to change or influence the course of any ballot
There is no need to put them in such an uncomfortable spot
Look at the many spin doctors other on television as they air
As they push those conspiracy theories, pleasing to the gullible ear
Still pushing that degree of doubt about the outcome of the election
Making some say they shall not concede if they are greeted with rejection
In a few weeks the day of elections shall be here
And of course there seems to be around lots of fear
It is time to ensure that once again there is maturity in your election
Before you on another their integrity, put to question
