An abundance of steadfast love,
Will be coming into my house;
That will be flowing from above,
When in harmony with my spouse.
I will bow toward Your holy church,
Your holy temple to revere;
Peace and solace is what I search,
To worship You because I fear.
Lead me, Lord in Your righteousness,
Make Your way straight before my face;
For with You I have assurance,
Giving me Your mercy and grace.
My enemies will speak no truth,
Their inward self is destruction;
Their flattery has been uncouth,
Enticing you with seduction.
Make them to bear their guilt, O God,
Let them fall by their own counsels;
Transgressions has made them so flawed,
Denies that confession cancels.
Let all who take refuge rejoice,
Sing for joy for shielded defense;
While lifting up with your voice,
As our salvation does commence.
For You are blessing the righteous,
You cover favor with Your shield;
With making right in Your justice,
As Your promise has been revealed.
