Songs of Life

Sarah 14

Like a storm seeking passage over the mountains,
She seethes as she seeks to flow unrestrained.
An endless cycle of assault ensues.
She attempts to force a path to freedom.
Troubled and unsettled she rages.
What event caused such undulating feelings is unspoken.
Like a tornado tearing across the plains, there is no sympathy.
No one is untouched as she hammers them with hail.
Electric fires flashing, she quickly lashes out in her fury
Striking all who refuse to cower or seek shelter.
Unaware, unable to comprehend, she seeks release from the storm demons,
But she fears the calm that takes away her power.
