Denying
It is hard to believe what is happening today
That no matter what one has to say
No matter the content, intent or what it conveys
Some people may find it offensive in some way
Now it seems that if one tries to do some good
So clearly that such was hard to be misunderstood
This can now be greeted with such a degree of objection
Making one regret that it was not the right decision
But there is no doubt about a type of behaviour now on display
And this seems to be in some quarters causing such a dismay
Because things that are quite clearly very wrong
Are now getting such support that are frightfully strong
It was thought as joke, a few short years ago
When a big man on losing refused to let it go
Perhaps believing that he must be always winning
Even though the difference was there, could not accept losing
So there began the new culture that is one of denying
And like a wild fire is very dangerously spreading
But what can be done to prevent such a travesty
Alas!Look at the caliber of those people who are in so deeply
Now this type of behaviour is now like a motto
Because there are many who plan to use it now even more
By many who stated such about the results of this coming election
Not conceding if they are a loser, is the course of action
