Righteousness of God manifest,
What the Law and the Prophets bear;
Even though apart as confessed,
That has been witnessed by to share.
Righteousness of God through your trust,
In Christ Jesus if you believe;
No distinction when faith is just,
For salvation that you receive.
For all have sinned and fallen short,
Of the glory not justified;
The glory of God in His Court,
By His grace through the crucified.
Justified by grace as a gift,
That is in Christ through redemption,
As your spirit He will uplift,
Set as a propitiation.
Bringing a propitiation,
Received by your faith by His blood;
Worthiness for sin remission,
Restored from a baptismal flood.
Righteousness through divine patience,
God has passed over former sin;
The forbearance through endurance,
To build spiritual discipline.
His righteousness you must declare,
To just as the justifier;
Your belief in Jesus to share,
Proclaim as a testifier.
