Love never ends and never fails, But prophecies will pass away; Although knowledge may give details, But our tongue will make you stray. Because we prophesy in part, But partially passes away; For what maybe comes from the heart, If coming down for us to obey. Before when I was a child, As a child my thoughts did speak; As a man, no longer wild, In the things, I started to seek. I stopped any childish thought, After I had become a man; For it was Heaven that I sought, And what the Lord has in His plan. Now we see a light dimly lit, In a dark mirror face to face; Look to be spiritually fit, For the receiving of His grace. I know in part what I shall know, Even though I have fully known; That faith, hope, and love always flow, Of the superior way alone. Faith, hope, and love abide these three, But the greatest of these is love; Because all love will come from thee, Flowing down from Heaven above.
