Now there for all to see.
When it comes to the workers
Look anywhere you like
So many are lined up waiting
For their turn to strike.
Food banks are there to
Help fill a great need
But running out of donations
With far too many to feed.
Hungry and homeless living
On the street in the cold
Children in poor housing dying
From the damp and the mould.
Tough luck for the sick
And the terminally ill
Hugely long waiting lists
Just another bitter pill.
As we all sit there and consider
Our almost desperate situation
Just remember that Austerity is
For the good of the whole Nation.
Twelve years in power
And we've got Austerity back
If they'd been Football Managers
They'd have long had the sack.
Don't bother the privileged
With such ugly facts
They're all to busy avoiding
Their fair amount of tax.
It's so good to see us all
Now getting back on track
We may be poor and desperate
But we've got our Country back.
