Gather around children for tonight is Christmas Eve
And Father Christmas has magic that he will weave,
He has so many children to visit this very night
Around the world he`ll travel and that is quite a sight.
The reindeers pull the sleigh which Santa will steer
The jingle of the sleigh bells will ring loud and clear,
Rudolph will lead the way as he`s done this before
Many times he has guided Santa right to your door.
If you have been good then he`ll stop at your house
He won`t disturb you he`ll be as quiet as a mouse,
He`ll leave your presents around the Christmas tree
When you see them you`ll be as happy as can be.
Now it`s a special Christmas for a special little boy
This is the first Christmas he`ll be able to enjoy,
Harvey`s home at last it`s what we`ve been waiting for
It`s the best Christmas present ever and that`s for sure.
He spent most of his 17 months in intensive care
Because of covid only his Mum and Dad could be there,
Hospital is the only place he has even known
So it`s a special Christmas because Harvey is home.
Now children it`s time for bed so hurry on upstairs
Before you get into bed don`t forget your prayers,
I know you are excited but try not to delay
Go to sleep quickly for tomorrow is Christmas Day.
