Coming New Year

Curfews and court orders
Incapable of preventing urban
lives from being slaughtered through street violence mayhem and murder

They blame it on the parents. They blame the mayor. They blame the police. They blame it on the man in the moon. But Homicides in Philly never cease

Over five hundred murders each
and every year. Why would any right minded Philadelphian celebrate
the coming New Year?
