Diana's sunrise made Football news

There is no defense against a rising sun
at winter's beach, during harshest of seasons.
There is no cover to, prevent new light
breaking untouched, into a secondary sky.
No blitz can flush the sun from the pocket,
to run wide open across the middle of waves.
There is no man, to a man, who can halt
red zones from turning pink before coffee brews
pre game plans and hope to burn off clouds.

There is no defense against the setting of the sun
A relentless march, ground gained, around the end
and steady short passes, toward horizon's end zone.
No adjustment can be made after half time midday film.
upon review. Lunch with the best of defensive coordinators
The sun will fall from the sky, tumble end over end
into the waiting arms of poets and lovers with cameras.
No nickel or dime substitution made against a fading feeling
can relieve sadness. Another sun downs into darkness, at end of day.
