Prepare your mind for action,
Set your hope fully on grace;
Gives you His revelation,
For entering the Holy place.
Obedient one of Christ,
Be not conformed to passion;
Making you earthly enticed,
But a spiritual fashion.
He who called you is holy,
Be holy in your conduct;
In this manner as only,
That Christ says is adequate.
Being holy you shall be,
Just as it has been written;
Because holy is like He,
Other ways are forbidden.
To call on Him as Father,
Who would judge without respect;
Can He be as your Brother,
If you righteously reject.
For you had not been redeemed,
From the corruptible things;
By others that have blasphemed,
But what inheritance brings.
Not through with silver or gold,
But the precious blood of Christ;
Without blemish to behold,
Being holy sacrificed.
Known by the foundation,
This world was made manifest;
For the sake of salvation,
With living out your conquest.
Who through Christ believe in God,
The Father raised from the dead;
Giving glory as we laud,
So that faith and hope are fed.
