Tears Shed

As a preschooler both parents
told me that big boys don't cry. I
took their words as truth

Having never known them to lie.
My vague recollection of shedding emotional tears are proof

I have a dubious relationship with tears. Can only remember having shed them thrice in the last seventy three years
