Things I see while I sleep

Disturbed by the things I see While I sleep, cloudless sky's, but its cold outside; star less nights, but its bright outside; drifting further beneath my drenched sheets, drowning but not choking; lungs confused not knowing what to do; heart rate rapidly rising; suddenly awoken by the song on my horizon; Discombobulated cause my pupils are dialing my soul feels violated; so I read the Good Book to remind myself that my spirit is stronger than I look; then its back to the facts searching for the shine at the end of the line.
Continuing my grind down this narrow path I feel dirty these are the times I don't feel worthy to accept the honor I've been chosen to receive; maybe one day my deep rooted dreams and goals will one day be perceived by me as exactly achieved or perhaps one day I won't wake from my wet sheets and end with eternal sleep
