I Saw It Coming

I saw It Coming

Wee hours of the morning

I was not afraid but baffled

A premonition of

An extremely tall plundging highway

Was extending from the blue sky overhead

So smooth, beautiful

I never witnessed a highway without cracks,

Bumps, pot holds or damages of any kind

A light silvery gray

Leaving one in awe

It was more than a dream

More than a thought

It was a sign from the heavens

And I saw it coming!
