LCHS
It's More Than Just A Building
Not just a square box
of brick and mortar
For so many Rebels
it brought our life to order.
Halls that now lie silent
empty and cold
Oh if those walls could talk
what a story to be told
Where relationships
grew to a life long bond
Teachers that cared
and knew how to respond
The best years had
spent within those walls
The very same ones
now with silent halls
Such carefree days
So many dreams
Friends forever
Our life's schemes.
The earthquake that shook
its very foundation
We now learn is the cause
of it's final destination.
A place to never be forgotten
loving memories will always linger
A time gone by, physically lost
I guess it's part of life's order.
To watch it be torn down
will bring many a tear
I guess I just took for granted
It would always be here.
Oh for just one more chance
Before LCHS is gone
If the Rebels could gather
for the last time on its lawn.
You see it was more than just
a building of brick and mortar
It was the home of the Rebels
our beloved Alma Mater
Even after the last brick is gone
and the ease of hearts aching
The memories will remain, for you see
It is more than just a building

~~School Song~~
Hail to Louisa,
the school we love best.
Our Alma Mater Dear LCHS
We pledge to serve thee
with all of our might
And stay to the finish
and fight, fight, fight
For the green and the gold,
we'll always wave high.
We won't be defeated
as long as we try.
Our pledge to Louisa
will always be true.
Hail Louisa!
We all love you!

ღ God asked me how long I planned on keeping you in my life.
I smiled and said...
How do I choose between always and forever...
But then I have found that's really not up to me... ღ
