The Bridge - In Remembrance of Andy

Restored was his heart
From flesh bridged to spirit
A free and eternal heaven
So close, he could hear it

Though he treasured many people
And in love, so much he'd give
Richly blessed with family
Daughters, son, grandkids…

No desire to leave anyone behind
No one would wish to see him go
His life, so full and so blessed
He would want us all to know

He now stood in front of eternity
From this broken earth he left
Every heartache, every pain,
Any sorrow privately wept

Diminished was the desire
Over the world's possessions and worth
He stood in awe of each color-
Undeveloped on the earth.

Suddenly enraptured by the joy
From the sound of Jesus' voice
No word in the dictionary to describe,
The reward for his faithful choice.

We don't see him now
But please, don't you fear it
Restored was his heart
From flesh bridged to spirit
