 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove
O Heaven, give an ear,
Let the earth hear the Word;
I speak since I revere,
As spoken of the Lord.

His teaching drops as rain,
With speech distill as dew;
Showers upon the grain,
As the tender grass grew.

For I always proclaim,
How great is our God;
For the Lord in His name,
That I honor and laud.

For His work is perfect,
As His ways are justice;
To righteously protect,
To comfort the helpless.

Foes have been corrupted,
No longer His child;
For they have disrupted,
Peace by going wild.

Do you repay the Lord,
As foolish and senseless;
His Word you have ignored,
Harming the defenseless.

Remember the old days,
Of past generations;
As taught how one obeys,
Making reparations.

When God of the Most High,
Gave the inheritance,
You never questioned why,
Of evil existence.

It is to His people,
Part of His heritage;
Who praise in His temple,
The right of their passage.
