For while we were still weak,
At the right time that Christ died;
The ungodly had to seek,
A cause for the crucified.
For no one will scarcely die,
Being a righteous person;
Though a good person asks why,
Of injustice being done.
But God is showing His love,
While we are still sinners;
A love that comes from above,
To the righteous beginners.
For the reason why Christ died,
More than being justified;
Enable to be sanctified,
Declared by the crucified.
While we were enemies,
We were reconciled;
No more saying blasphemies,
No more being defiled.
By His life, we shall be saved,
With joy in God through the Lord;
No longer that sin enslaved,
With God be in one accord.
Through Christ we have atonement,
With reconciliation;
Curing us of an ailment,
Makes us a new creation.
