A Stranger Inside

An image reflects
Into my looking glass
Unknown to myself
Fierce & piercing eyes
Peering into my soul
My life flashes
So violated
So shameful
Deepest secrets unveiled
Must I confess my sins
My breaths becomes labored
I begin to panic
Sweet Lord
Spear me this pain
That flashes before my eyes
I can't breathe
Everything is closing in around me
The image is still there
Why won't it disappear
And quickly as it appeared
I feel my eyes bulging
I'm suffocating
Help me
I can't breathe
I don't want to die
Don't let me die
I beg of you
Have mercy
Upon my soul
Minute by minute passes
My labored breathing slows
I am a live
An image still reflects
Into my looking glass
Now known to myself
I AM that stranger inside
