REPENT AT LEISURE

REPENT AT LEISURE

Suddenly you know the score
You aren`t needed any more,
So you are nudged out the door
There`ll be another for sure.

Someone will soon take your place
And this you will have to face,
New excitement they do seek
And their resistance is weak.

Some heads are easily turned
Doesn`t matter you`ve been spurned,
Flattery goes a long way
But they`ll live to rue the day.

They will find it`s not all THAT
This will leave them feeling flat
But too late they`ve burnt their boat
And they have cut their own throat.
