We have a strong obligation,
In bearing failings of the weak;
Not self-pleasing subjugation,
Rather unto the Lord we seek.
Let everyone please their neighbor,
It’s good for edification;
To build them up during labor,
And praying for supplication.
Even Christ Himself did not please,
The reproaches those who reproach;
Fell on Him of others to ease,
With being a mentor or coach.
What was written in former days,
Was written for an instruction;
Encouragement while one prays,
Endured to avoid obstruction.
In the Scriptures that we have hope,
To encourage through endurance;
Giving patience a way to cope,
That will give us perseverance.
Live together in one accord,
Granting to live in harmony;
Harmonic living with the Lord,
Blending just like a symphony.
Praising together with one voice,
Extol the Father of the Lord
Glorifying as you rejoice,
Show that they are loved and adored.
