Now thanks be unto God,
Who in Christ always leads;
As we honor and laud,
Caring for our needs.
Triumphal procession,
Savor of His wisdom;
Knowledge of profession,
About Heaven’s Kingdom.
The aroma of Christ,
Who is the sweet savor;
That has made us enticed,
Our Lord and Savior.
For we are being saved,
While others perish;
No more are we enslaved,
Earthly things we cherish.
Fragrance from death to death,
The scent of life to life;
Sufficient for my breath,
To tolerate the strife.
We are not like many,
The peddlers of God’s Word;
Are sincere as any,
In the His sight are heard.
