Because you have made the Lord,
Highest for your dwelling place;
Let Him be loved and adored,
And He will pour out His grace.
No evil shall be allowed,
Shall ever fall upon you;
No plague shall come from a cloud,
Come near where you would pursue.
He will command His angels,
To guard you in all your ways;
Assisting in all battles,
Unto the time that one prays.
Their hands will bear you up,
Striking your foot on a stone;
To thirst, they will fill your cup,
They assure you’re not alone.
You will tread on the lion,
Trample the snake underfoot;
You are enroute to Zion,
With a spiritual output.
He holds fast to me in love,
My Savior and protection;
His blessings flow from above,
He redeems with salvation.
I answer when He has called,
He rescues when in trouble;
I confess when I’m flawed,
He saves me from the rubble.
I’m satisfied from long life,
Praise Him for my salvation;
He comforts during my strife,
Made me a new creation.
