Sweet Thoughts
Of amber nights,
And cool summer breezes
Roses singing
Anthems of praise to me
Powerful sun
Whose rays whisper wishes
Wantingly in my ear.
Brisk heat sizzles the ground
And the weak grass
Begs boldly
For clouds to cry
Laughter of children
Breaks the summer stillness
And the days extend
And darkness delays
For lays summer days
