Laughing outwardly, with not a worry in the world
Her skirt tangles in her legs as she spins
Slow like snails she turns, round and round,
Like the earth on its axis
The image is like a chalky sketch,
Colors smeared and blended together,
All twirling to create her.
She laughs, she spins
In her arms above her
The boy squeals with delight
She does not feel his weight, here he is air.
His arms fling with pleasure
Their eyes locked together,
Attached with love.
Together they laugh
Like a choir of angels.
They twirl
Slowly they spin
She does not feel the reality, the pain
Only now as they turn
A faraway whisper, a hush
Like a butterflies fluttering wings,
Giggles out over the laughter
“I love you Aaron”
Like a Childs innocence he smiles
Their colors smear together creating one, one person
The hue that is the child
Spins and disappears where her heart is
The laughter fades away
The colors stop spinning
The picture becomes clearer
Her eyes open, smile faded
She climbes from her bed
Ready, almost
To face another colorless day
With out the laughing child
