In Remembrance!
They marched them by the score,
Towards the barren shed,
Many didn't know, though some did,
They'd be the next claimed dead!
Stripped of all their garments,
Naked they waited to shower,
But gas came pouring out instead,
All were killed in the hour!
Why oh why did they do it?
Where they so insane?
Or was it just an every day thing?
Did everything seem a game?
Jewish? No! Just people,
The same as you and me,
Hearts and feelings, just human beings,
Slaughtered by a mad Nazi!
So all these years on,
Never forgotten, always remembered,
The Holocaust was abominable,
Innocent people's lives were surrendered!
Never let this be brushed aside,
Don't let them have died in vain!
Remember this well, and never forget,
This must NEVER happen again!
