When I am gone and tears begin to fall
And you put me high on pedestal.
Reach up and take me down that is not me.
I was only human don`t you see.
I made mistakes, I shouted raved and cried.
Do not make me perfect now I`ve died.
Remember all the fun we had my dears
And do not shed too many useless tears.
Life was often good, and sometimes bad
But I am happy that I lived, be glad.
Do not remember me with angels wings.
I was human and did human things.

For any hurt I caused you, please forgive
I was human and as human lived.
Remember also you are human too
Forgive yourselves the little wrongs you do.
All I ask is that you love me still.
For my mistakes I paid my earthly bill.
But most of all remember through the tears
I love you all so very much my dears.
And as you stand beside my grave and weep.
Remember I`m not dead - I`m just asleep.
When I awake once more to heavens glory
I will tell my Lord a lovely story
About the people back on earth I love
And with his help I`ll see you from above.
