~The Fairies' Awakening~
(Free Verse)

All the fairies begun to rise
And from early morning greeted in the sun.
Glowing with emeralds and diamonds
And amethysts shining so bright

Atonished all the elves started to laugh
Watching all the sunflowers blooming so high
As high as the sky, they seemed to touch the sun
And the busy bees that were scouting by

Mr and Mrs. Frog sat happily on a lily-pond
Staring in amazement to the baby gnomes
Playing a tug-a-rope with all the leprachauns
As the fairies and butterflies giggled, celebrating Spring.
