We are what we are, and no matter what,
This is the way it will be,
The outside shell is insignificant,
It's the heart that counts for you and me!
Size, looks and posterior means nothing,
It's the heart that's most paramount to all,
For the fickle minded people of this world,
Are the only ones to take a tumble and fall?
Fall on their face, and fall into pain,
Into the hell that they tried to pass on,
By hurting with words unkind and untrue,
By hurting by what they have done!
But no matter where life leads us,
And no matter the trials and the pain,
We have self worth, like nothing on earth,
And we have everything to gain!
So throw off the blanket of hurt and pain,
Toss it aside and move into the light,
Leave behind all that's bad and cruel,
Strive forward and fight the good fight!
Always remember what I say,
And read the words in which are true,
Absorb and take on board take into your heart,
Believe in the heart of you!
We all have strength, so find it,
Dig deep down inside your soul,
Bring it to the surface,
And therein make your life whole!
Find that confidence and strength,
Bring them to the fore,
And before you know it, just like that,
You won't feel the pain any more!
Throw off the past and strive forward,
Onwards and upwards and ahead,
Take into your heart all that is good,
And stop living your life in dread!
You have much self worth,
We all have feelings inside,
And hurting is just a part of life,
Let go the past, let it slide!
Never look over your shoulder,
To see what you left behind,
For pain and torment and hurt,
Is all that you will find...!
March forward into the light,
Let go the painful past,
Rid this rejection, let it go,
And live a happy life at last!
Believe in yourself...Trust in yourself
Love yourself...Be yourself
