Earwigs And Butterflies!
What a combination,
Earwigs and butterflies!
But there they were, just like that,
Right in front of my eyes!
I was in the garden one day,
Sunshine shining bright,
Watching butterflies flitting about,
From morning until night!
When the darkness fell though,
The earwigs came out to play,
And so terrified of them am I…
That fear was all I could see!
So I legged it into my flat,
Shaking like a leaf,
And just like that, my kitten,
Stole the earwig like a thief!
Earwigs and butterflies a-roaming,
All over this garden of mine,
But hey, what do I expect,
With a garden as great as mine!
It seems they love to hang around,
In my garden so pretty and sweet,
And after all, when said and done,
I've got my feet up on the seat!
