For You Cynthia.
When the road that we must travel,
Burdens us down with weight,
We crawl inside our mind,
And get ourselves in a state.
The path seems harsh and hilly,
We find it a struggle to climb,
But we push on, no matter what,
We have a strength so good and fine.
And when you're feeling weary,
And can't see too far ahead,
Push yourself onward and forward,
Don't live your life in dread.
For the strength you have inside you,
Is an invisible cord that won't tear!
Pulling you onward to face…
Whatever is you face that's there.
You have friends and family around you,
And an abundance of love so strong,
That you have help and guidance,
No matter the road, or how long!
So Cyn, fight the good fight,
Be of strong heart and mind,
And ask for help, from Him above,
And strength is what you'll find.
So deep in the recess of your mind,
Draw on the positive side,
And if you feel like crying,
Then cry an ocean deep and wide.
Let it go, set them free,
Don't bottle up your fears,
And no matter what is thrown your way,
You are allowed to shed those healing tears!
For every little teardrop…!
That falls slowly down your face,
It helps the healing process…
And your sadness it helps to chase…
Lean on your friends for a while,
Don't carry this pain alone…
And if you feel too downhearted,
Just pick up the phone.
Call a friend or family member,
Pour out your fears, set them free,
You are tough! You know it to be so,
We walk the walk, both you and me.
Strength is an inner source,
Constitution the backbone of life,
Add these ingredients together,
And it makes for an easier life!
Face those dragons, chase them away,
Move forward into the light,
And always remember what I said…
Be strong, fight the good fight!
So hold your head high, be strong,
And face your pain head on…
And before you even realise…
Once more, this fight you will have won.
