 Penniluck's legacy

Winter In April

Earth cocooned in leaden grey

Neither night `nor day.

Booming thunder breaks away.

Gashing light across the sky

Not a soul walks by

Muffled sigh.

Bouncing rain on window pane

Bubbling overflowing drain

Cowering, shaking leafy lane.

Trees bough down with care

No living soul would dare

Be there.
