Darling daughter, today is your wedding day.
Are you happy?
I watched you lying sleeping
Your fair curls all tangled around your beautiful face.
You looked like you were having nice dreams.
The house was silent.
I reflected back on all the years of your life
And I decided you have been such a pleasure since you were born.
So loving and kind.
I had my moment alone with you
You just were not aware of it.
What words can say sweetheart how much I want for you.
Be happy darling.
I wish you all the good things in life.
If I could wave a magic wand
You would never know sorrow
You would never know pain.
I love you baby
Take that knowledge with you
All the days of your life.
