 MONSTER  INCORPORATED ( Free Verse)

~Monster Incorporated~
(Free Verse)

I don't know why for heaven's sake
But the other day my mom
From the store brought home the weirdiest and strangest pet
So ugly and so noisy it gives me, all kind of bad dreams

I don't understand any of this at all
And why she allows him to destroy things
Well, this monster from hell
Is always eating everything on sight

My mom just drags it by the handle everywhere
She pushes it and makes it fit in each room
Then the scariest thing of all then takes place
That monster from hell growls and like madman also shakes

The other day my mom got so shaken and distressed
Well, when as usual she took him for his feed and walk
That monster was so hungry, one of my socks he ate
My poor mom just gave out the loudest and angry scream

Lots of sparks and smoke from the monster just arose
So fast filling of sot and dust also the whole room
I was then so happy when my mom at last
Decided to kick that creepy monster out

But now, again, I am happy no more
Just last night I heard my mom say to my dad
that tomorrow she's going back to the store
And get the meanest machine she can find.
