Growing Up.

Little baby all in pink.
Toddling now just on the brink.
Rushing off to go to school
Following the children's rule.

Getting bigger all the time.
Years are passing, now your nine.
Can`t believe it you`re fourteen
Learning now what life can mean.

Lipstick, make-up, boyfriends too.
Can`t believe that girl is you.
All grown up, long silky hair.
All the boys just stand and stare.

Don`t rush forward into life.
All too soon you`ll be a wife.
Enjoy your freedom while you can
Because someday you`ll love a man.

Then it will be right for you
If you have a love that`s true.
Just be careful you will know
When it`s time to let youth go.
