Childhood Street.

Dimpled cheeks, babe blue eyes
Honey smiles, seldom cries.
One year old walks alone
Two, three, four years gone.
Off to school proud and tall
Teachers, pupils, loved them all.
Puberty with all its pain.
Teenage years, some loss, some gain.
Time keeps passing, twenty-one
Now you are a man my son.
Memories that you hold sweet
Looking back down Childhood Street.
All those years so far away
Are why you`re what you are today.
Hope that life is always good
Do my son all that you should.
Remember too I love you still
And darling boy, I always will.
