Words and Verse

Raindrops

Here is another poem that I found in one of my more ancient poetry logbooks

The raindrops patter through the garden
Bobbing green leaves up and down
And crackle along the road of asphalt
Sending echos through the stone

The singing papagayos' tweeting
Through the airy fog of mist
Now mixes with the rain apatter
Through the leaves which it has kissed.

I rise up with the rapturous echos,
Through the boundless air we rove,
I fly off to an isle of marble
Where I lost the girl I love.
