This one is by heinrich heine with my own english verse translation
When to you I my plaints did bring
You yawned and didn't say a thing
But when I cast them into verse
Your compliments were hardly terse
Und als ich euch meine Schmerzen geklagt
Da habt ihr gegähnt und nichts gesagt;
Doch als ich sie zierlich in Verse gebracht
Da habt ihr mir große Elogen gemacht
