Choices
To wake or sleep, a promise keep
Tell truth or lie, to laugh or cry
Of law obey in silent stay
Unwilled attend, or just defend
With simple pill much time to kill
In longer days to run the maze
Of life as such, to reach and touch
Of fate accept and be inept
Or try your wings for better things
Choice to make, give and take
Love or hate, or drown in fate
A gift to live means to give
of your all and heed the call
Of every choice hear the voice
To plan tomorrow without sorrow
