 Penniluck's legacy

The Twin Towers. Pay Up Time.

Pay Up Time

Desperately phoning home
To kiss the kids goodbye
Remember that I love you
And try dear not to cry.
The planes hit hard
The crash was heard
Over all the land
God help us screamed the innocent
Hold out a helping hand.

Just like any working day
The people milled around
Smiling at each other
Then they heard the sound.
God something has hit us
There is fire in the air.
Jesus help us out of here
There is no bloody stair.

Inside each soul was frenzy
And many hearts were broken
Helping all the weaker ones
No harsh words were spoken.
Come on now the firemen said
We will get you out
Instead they died beside them
Brave beyond a doubt.

The lovely Twin Towers crumbled
People on the ground - ran
And heard the haunting screams
God what an awful sound.
In the name of Allah
People died that day.
But strangely not the leaders
They are still at play.

Why are you such brave men
When others died for you
Hiding in your bunkers
In shame - I hope you do.
We will seek you out you know.
The price you`ll have to pay
For killing all those people
On that fateful day.

If we do not get you
We know someday you`ll find
That when you use His name in vain
You will get paid in kind.
So do not use the God above
Excuses for your killing
He knows who and what you are
And you will pay - God willing.
