Betrayal & Madness
I never had so many mixed emotions until the day you left me
You were a bad mistake
but I didn't realize at the time
I took my chances and now I am licking my wounds
scars all on my face
but it is deeper than that, it's mental
like an abstract picture
there is layers to the sadness
did you have to be so cruel?
did you have to play me for a fool?
well it seems your time ran out on you
and this time it is everyone's misery
why couldn't you just go down on your own?
you just had to take everyone else's happiness
and rip it into shreds to make yourself feel better
but you know what I am damn and determined to be happy
even if that means cutting the strings
I am going to move on, I don't need you mother
or this crazy family.
